Envoy Pilots Union Elects New Leadership Team

DALLAS, Tex.—This week, the Envoy Master Executive Council (MEC) of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA) elected three officers to lead more than 2,300 Envoy pilots.

The voting members of the Envoy MEC elected Capt. Jonathan Miranda, chair; Capt. Patrick Pernell, vice chair; and F/O Johnathan Lewandowski, secretary-treasurer, to serve the two-year term that begins September 8, 2025.

Capt. Jonathan Miranda
Capt. Miranda was re-elected as MEC chair. Based in Chicago, he has been with Envoy since 2019. He previously served as MEC secretary-treasurer, as well as F/O representative and LEC secretary-treasurer in Council 133. He was also a member of the Pilot-to-Pilot (P2P) Committee.

Capt. Patrick Pernell
Capt. Pernell was elected as MEC vice chair. Based in Chicago, he has been with Envoy since 2019. He previously served as MEC secretary-treasurer and Contract Compliance chair. He has also served as Council 133 secretary-treasurer, ALPA New Hire Mentor, and Contract Compliance member.

F/O Johnathan Lewandowski
F/O Lewandowski was elected as MEC secretary-treasurer. Based in Dallas, he has been with Envoy since 2021. He previously served as an F/O representative in Council 83 and as Legislative Affairs Committee chair. He has also volunteered as a member of Pilot Peer Support.
