About the ALPA Internship Program
As an intern, you’ll engage in our day-to-day operations and gain a behind-the-scenes look at how our national staff supports airline pilots. This is your chance to see how our work shapes the aviation industry while learning from experienced professionals.
Eight-week paid internships are available in several ALPA departments. We strive to recruit the best and brightest candidates for every position—people who believe in our mission and whose knowledge and expertise support our reputation as the preeminent pilots' union in the world. We want to connect with motivated students from a variety of educational backgrounds.
Summer Internships at ALPA
Summer interns will be based in our McLean, Va., offices just outside of Washington, D.C.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, you must meet one of the following requirements:
- Be the dependent of an active or retired ALPA member in good standing
- Be the dependent of a current ALPA employee
Additionally, applicants must be currently enrolled in college and entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year, or a graduate program.
