Kelowna Flightcraft Pilots Seek Industry-Standard Contract

In 2024, Kelowna Flightcraft pilots elected a new Master Executive Council (MEC). They have been working diligently to lay the groundwork for the pilots' next round of negotiations, as their current collective agreement expires in spring 2025. The current agreement was negotiated during the pandemic and lags behind today's industry standards in many areas, including pay, benefits, and other quality-of-life issues.

The MEC is also actively seeking to increase the number of pilot volunteers to maintain a robust and unified committee structure for the Kelowna pilot group.

On the operations front, the pilots recently received news that the Purolator BC Feeder Network contract has been renewed for 10 years, providing job security for many years to come. The cargo division will also begin a fleet transition in early 2025 with ATR 72-500Fs replacing the Convair 580s and 5800.
