Capt. Reed C. Donoghue
Executive Vice President, Group A

Delta Capt. Reed Donoghue was elected executive vice president, Group A, of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l, on Oct. 30, 2024, at ALPA’s biennial Board of Directors meeting. His two-year term began on Jan. 1, 2025.
Capt. Donoghue is an Airbus A220 pilot based in Salt Lake City, UT, and serves as a member of ALPA’s Strategic Preparedness and Strike Committee and Steering Committees. Within the Delta Master Executive Council (MEC), he acted as executive administrator, chair and vice chair of the Strategic Planning Committee, as well as a member of the Communications Committee and the MEC’s Furlough Focus Group.
Prior to flying for Delta, Capt. Donoghue was a pilot for Air Wisconsin, where he served as the Local Executive Council #50 representative/vice chair and was a member of the Negotiating Committee.
Capt. Donoghue earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aviation management from the Florida Institute of Technology, and lives in Park City, UT, with his wife and two children.
