PSA Capt. Ray Burton was elected executive vice president, Group B3, of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l, on Oct. 30, 2024, at ALPA’s biennial Board of Directors meeting. His two-year term began on Jan. 1, 2025.

Capt. Burton is a Bombardier CRJ700/900 pilot based in Arlington, Va., and is the current vice chair of the PSA Master Executive Council (MEC) Grievance Review Committee, and also acts as captain representative and chair for PSA Local Executive Council #70 through Feb. 28, 2025. He previously served as chair of the MEC Contract Enforcement Committee. Prior to flying for PSA, Capt. Burton was a realtor and broker/owner of a small property management company.

Capt. Burton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and lives in Greensboro, N.C.
